After cleaning up and putting on our clothes...boys had matching outfits that Carmel Grandma and Poppa Don sent them (the one from our Christmas Card) we went to Andy's parents house. We had some of Andy's extended family there, but what made this year so special was the presence of his brother Lance.
I had never met Lance in person until this year, and Andy had not seen him in well over a dozen years. Lance had been in Alaska.
He has since moved back to California, and is doing just fine. Hayden LOVES his uncle Lance, and not just because he gave him kick ass Christmas gifts ;)
Anyhow...being with the family is always great...we usually enjoy a bottle or 5 of FINE wine, usually from the Napa / Sonoma region...but Livermore has some great offerings too....(yes im in sales)...
After eating, opening gifts and passing around Brody for everyone to have their turn we were beat. We slept well that night...all of us..... and woke up with lots of new toys to play with!
