Ice Skating

While Hayden was off for Christmas Break from pre-school, Lance (Andys Brother) and I took him and hisfriend Katie....ice skating. A very bruised knee later......I determined that I would need more practice! Hayden did descent, especiallt towards the end!

Santa on Bellflower?

Santa visited the neighborhood kids on 12/19 during a small christmas gathering at our friends house!

He brought all the kids toys, and Hayden was really excited to get a miini surfboard for his wall in his bedroom. He asked Santa for a surfboard this year, so we will see if this mini one was a prelude to what is to come?

Zoo Lights

We had a blast going to Zoo Lights this year! It is a Christmas light display during the evening hours at the Oakland Zoo.

Haydens godparents came, Uncle Dave, Uncle Lance and of course poppa Rusty and Vanilla Grandma LeeAnn!

Sweater update....

When my mom and Donny left to go home (Texas) they took our ugly sweaters as they had a 2nd ugly sweater party to attend....and guess what DONNY WON with ANDYS SWEATER!!!

Ugly Sweater Thanksgiving!

This was the first year all of Andy's family had been together in over 13 years! What a fun way to celebrate and be thankful.....UGLY SWEATER party was a huge success....

Food was fabulous...we loved the deep fried cajun turkey!

The best sweater prize was a leopar print snuggie!

This was awarded to Lance....but you cant see his turtle themed sweater in this photo to good....but you can see that bothy Hayden and Brody even had sweaters!

Pre-School "thanksgiving feast"

Hayens school prepared a Thanksgiving Feast for family and friends...there had to have been 400 of us! It was very cute!

They made food, desserts, centerpieces, necklaces, headbands .. AND sang to us!

They made the front page of our local Livermore newspaper too!

Me, Brody, Grandma LeeAnn, Poppa Rusty, Aunt Shirley and our neighbor Ms. Shannon all were in attendance!

Hooray! Hayden finally was comfortable enough to sit on Santas lap!

This photo is a photo of a photo....so it is not great quality. It was taken at the Christmas Tree Lane - Tree Stroll. It is an anual fundraiser held at the Palm Event Center in Pleasanton to support the new wing of the local hospital just for Breast Cancer.

I have taken my mother in law for two years now as a pre-thanksgiving kick off to the HOLIDAYS! It is always loads of fun!

From peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and chicken strips to popcorn and christmas cookies they always offer up a perfect kids buffet!

The evening was wonderfull, Santa was there in his sleigh, a local author read her book about the local Niles Christmas Train and there were at least 50 decorated trees for auction too....there was so much to see and do!

The next morning LeeAnn, Brody and I went to the sister fundraiser to this event, it was a tea party...it was ok...not fabulous! But we looked fabulous right? :)
