Well we had our check up today with the GI specialist. And all is GREAT! There will not be any more appointments :) YEAH! And we are free to expect to live a normal life..with out interuption!
Of course, we all knock on wood.
I had a great weekend. I got to go to the Salinas Airshow. My friend from high school Donna Drake, is on the US AirForce Thunderbird team! She totally looks the same, still totally skinny and cute as ever!
She is kinda like a celebrity, people stoped here for pictures, and she said they also ask for autographs occasionally :) I PROMISE to post pictures soon...Hayden is getting SO big...I swear he is taller by the day.
He turn one on 10/28, and I turn 30 (yes...I am admitting it) on 10/29. We are planning a pumpkin patch party for him on the 25th. And as for mine...probably dinner with friends and family then on 10/30 Andy and I are off to Zihuatanejo Mexico! Woo-Hoo!
All of the money and effort with the personal trainer 3x a week for like 6 months better show...I have hopes to wear a bikini on the beach ???? :)
I am so excited....this will be our first vacation since we say Spain and Morocco last Spring (07') and I was pregnant then too...so we didnt visit many pubs for the night scene.
Well...I am hoping I will remember to bring my camera and download pics to this site tomorrow.
Chao.
I have started this page for you all whom wish or care to keep up with us. The FOUR of us are happily enjoying this crazy life and enjoy hearing from you to! our email is druba94551@hotmail.com We love to get comments on the page...

oh no...Black Eye!
Hayden has a black eye...its not TOO bad, but it is bruised :( He fell while walking and went eye first into the bottom left hand corner of the TV stand....
I hope people dont think I beat him, like I beat his father? ;) lol!!
We had a very relaxed weekend....Sat night we had dinner at Terry and Debbie, Sophia and their 3 week new edition Laila house! She is Such a doll :)
I totally cheated from my Nutrisystem diet (which I have lost 7 lbs!) But that Cold Stone Cookie Ice Cream Cake slice was so worth it!!!
The food on this diet is descent, but I definitley had a hard time watching Frankie, Eric and Andy eat buffalo wings from Wing Stop on Sunday...while I ate a chicken and noodle dish...but I couldnt cheat twice in two days :) Well I guess I dont consider 1 wing cheating :)
Pictures to come I promise...

Back from hospital!
We had one hell of a long weekend. Hayden spent Thursday night-Sunday afternoon in the hospital! We are all home now and healthy! THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR PRAYERS AND THOUGHTS!
So here's the dope: Thursday night about 8pm I took Hayden to Mervyn's to check out their going out of business sale. at 8:45 we were paying the cashier (Hayden flirty as ever with the cashiers) when out of no where he turned his head into my chest and projectile vomited down my shirt 4x.
(I didn't think much of it, as he is teething...the first tooth is now out and totally visible .. but that's another blog once I get a picture of it!)
Anyway...the girl (about 16 years old) behind the register gave me tissue to clean us both up with, and walked us out ....to help us get the bags into the car. Upon getting to the car Hayden who looked VERY pale at this point had a MASSIVE bowl movement....I knew something was wrong. Strapped him into the car seat and raced home (of course stuck behind EVERY RED LIGHT, slow driver and pedestrians crossing!)
I finally got home, and pulled Hayden out of his seat putting him on my hip. That's when I saw it...the bowl movement from inside his diaper was squirting out of the sides of the diaper!...of course by now its practically dark so I thought it was just a bunch of poop...In a mad rush I left my bags in the car and ran inside to ask Andy to help me get him cleaned up while I changed my filthy clothes. As he got up to get the sink ready for a soaking for Hayden, I removed Hayden's diaper...and to my dismay I found the diaper was not just full of poop...but BLOOD!! Not just dots of blood, but like FILLED TO THE BRIM,( that's what was spilling out of the sides of diaper onto the driveway and my pants) full of blood...like a soda can size full of blood was in his diaper!
That's when I flipped out, and Andy saw this and we both started flipping out. Without a second thought Andy told me to get him diapered, put the dirty diaper in a plastic bag (for the Dr. to see) and we jammed to the Emergency Room....of course never being to the ER~ I was confident the hospital here in Livermore had one....WRONG...so with a wasted 20 minutes we headed in to Pleasanton...
The hospital was BUSY, but we finally got in, Hayden in the mean time is falling asleep at every still chance...it was past his 9pm bedtime.
At 10:30 we finally got into a room in the ER. And after lots of blood samples, people opening up the stinky bag with the dirty diaper and lots of questions...we were told that it sounds like a case of "Meckel's Diverticulum" a rare yet totally easy to fix bulge in the small intestine.
We were taken by Ambulance to the Children's Hospital and research Center in Oakland. A world renowned hospital of its kind. So we knew we were going to the best of the best.
Friday morning they took him in for a bio-nuclear test..where they put dye in his blood hoping to see the dye stop on the MECKLES....it came back negative....by this point his blood is extremely low in count...
Friday afternoon after a blood transfusion was found to be successful the nurse allowed us to go outside for 30 minutes! Woo-Hoo day light....HAYDEN LOVES BEING OUTSIDE!! This was heaven for all of us.
The next couple days were hell we were still living in the ICU for infants.......more needles, poking, questions, MORE tests...including a colonoscopy which meant no food for nearly 2 days! (Try keeping a kid happy on an empty stomach for 2 days!) Ahh...re-living it again is horrendous. ... during the colonoscopy they thought for sure they would find the MECKLES and in turn thought they would go in and cut it out right then and there. YES surgery....but once again this test came back clear...nothing was seen...and there area pictures to prove it....
At this point are emotions are all over the board! We are really happy that he didn't have to get surgery, really angry that they didn't find anything... meaning NO explanation...worried that its not even close to being over, and sad that he has been through all of this.
Finally at this point the doc's are all saying that it must have been a burst artery that simply Healed itself! OK FINE!
So to make my L..O..n...G story short.....we got released Sunday afternoon. He is on a ulcer medication? and has a few follow up appointments already on the books.
We are so happy to be home. thankful for such wonderful family and blessed to have a HEALTHY baby again :)
I will keep you posted on his progress. And I promise to get some pictures up real soon...
