18 week photo

almost 18 weeks ....

Well I had my monthly check up yesterday, and all is good. So far this pregnancy has been descent, but not quit as fabulous as the first time around. I feel like every single symtom that the books says you may be experiencing.....I AM experiencing. Which was totally NOT the case with Hayden?

I never got sick, never got tired, never got headaches, never had finger numbness, never had dizziness, never had muscle (leg) cramps and certinally never got bitchy...ok that last one may be a lie!! But the point is, this is a VERY different pregnancy....

So that leads to the totally obvious....this baby will likely be very diffrent than Hayden! Some say that the symptoms mean its a girl? Others say its just diffrent than before...as for me. I dont know....? But I do know that this time around I have started to show ALOT sooner than I did with Hayden!

This weekend, Andy had his parents over to help him pull my maternity clothes out of the attic. It could not have come at a better time, as my work pants that day were becoming a bit on the painfull side in the button area ;) Needless to say, after MANY loads of laundry and re-sorting of my "new" clothes...im officially wearing MATERNITY PANTS! My regular shirts are more or less still fitting, but I tend to wear a vest every day.

I will get a pregnancy photo up soon...I keep forgetting to do that.

As I reach the halfway point (20 weeks) I am starting to look at options for bedding "if" the baby is a girl...this is the one in the winning so far.

I havent looked at the lil' dude ones yet...but will post that too!

Haydens first day of "Class"

Today was Haydens first day of "class" :) He is signed up for the mommy and me class thru the city of Livermore. Of course, mommy doesnt get to go (due to work) So good'ol vanilla grandma will get to take him!

Hayden was very excited to go, especially since we told him it was SCHOOL. He choose a few toys to put into his backpac, along with a snack bowl full of goldfish, a sippy cup of milk and a diaper (just in case) (And yes we are still in diapers :(...more to come on that later).

In honor of St. Patricks Day, he wore a white and green clover shirt, and green socks :)

Grandma said that his behavior was fabulous and that he was so thrilled to have been there that he forgot to say good bye to the teacher....so he ran back in the class at the end to say bye bye and he will see her again soon!

This 45minute class focuses on increased motor skills, and group songs, finger plays and play time.

Playgroup at our park!

This past Monday 3/15/10 we held our weekley play group at the park 5 houses from our home :)

The great weather meant FUN IN THE SUN!

Yesterday morning and this morning too...Hayden told me that I am his best friend. :) not sure how he thought of it, or why he says it...but it is so cute!

Today when he said it, Andy was leaving for work, and heard him say that to me...so he said ... "hey what about me?" and Hayden said NO MAMA!

AWH!

I luv you mama!

For about the past month, Hayden has been returning the words :) I luv you, mama!

He says it to his dad and his Grandma LeeAnn too!

It is SO cute! It MELTS my heart!
