First step...

OK....im SCARED! Hayden is GOING TO BE 9mos. in 3 days..yet..he took his first step TODAY! Of course he only managed one step and bailed..but he did it! OMG!

Swim Lessons....

Hayden is officially signed up for swim lessons!

He starts Monday August 4th. I will get to take him in the water for his first lesson, then its visor grandma LeeAnn from there on as it is during my work hours (M-Thurs 3:55pm-4:25pm!)

However water is nothing new to him, he enjoyes being in the water alot...visor grandma takes him in at her house daily! He LOVES the water....if we ever get to move back towards the central coast I hope he will have desires to learn to surf....

ps we call Leeann (andys mom) Visor Grandma because she LIVES in a visor :)

Baby Signs...

So we took a baby sign language class this weekend...it was ok.
We intend to use some signs right away!
We will probably start with food, drink, more, enough ....then move on to mom, dad, dog, cat, grandma, and grandpa etc... WELL SEE! ;)

My mother in law LeeAnn came and we took Hayden to his 9 month check up! He weighs in at 18lbs 11 & 1/2 oz. (in the 25 percentile) and is 27 & 1/2 inches long (also 25%)......So he just may grow up to be a jockey!

Andy is taking Hayden to his first birthday party....This Saturday Cierra... a friends daughter turns two! Since I am working, Andy is taking him to the party! Hayden has been invited to a small handfull of parties, but this time we are actually in town and able :)

He turn 9 months Monday. We are going for his 9mos photos at JC PEnny...so Ill get those posted ASAP!

Well we have been very busy again the past few weeks.

For the 4th of July we stayed home and watched movies.....since our big-ole dog Rhodie hates the fireworks we do our best to keep her calm and drown out the sounds from all the fireworks.

I am still seeing my personal trainer Deena 3x a week. So im starting to kinda look better post baby :)

I attempted to squeeze into a bathing suit to go swimming at a friends house..how embarrassing...she is like a size 4..lol! oh well...

Hayden is doing well, he is crawling all over and gaining speed everyday...he is really close to standing without holding on to anything! He can do it for about 1-3 seconds then he loses concentration :)

Andy's uncle Dave (so sweet) bought us clear plastic measured to our specifications to go over the railings of our stairs, so the worse case scenario can never happen! THANKS DAVE!

Friday, July 11th we went to a wedding at Casa Real in Pleasanton. It was beautiful. Renee the bride is so crafty she had very common things you see at weddings, but all made by her own hands! Which of course makes it even more special! She looked AMAZING!

Sat. 7/12 I attended the bridal shower of Bri Seckner, she is due in about a month and a 1/2....looks great and she said she still feels good too! I want able to stay long, as I snuck out of work for a "long Lunch". We are hanging out with her and her hubby Courtney (my friend from high school) on Sunday...we are taking a baby sign language class together then going to dinner at Piccola Casa. (My new favorite place).

Andy went to high school with a gal named Frankie...she and her hubby Eric live about 4 houses down! We have been spending allot of time with them lately...they have 2 sons and they are very similar to Andy and I ... sarcastic, loud and FUN :)

We are so excited, as my mom (abuelaita Berta) flys in 7/31 for a couple weeks....LeeAnn (visor grandma) and a few others are doing a walking tour of the painted ladies of SF on 8/6...wanna come? let me know...

Andy's Birthday Weekend!

Well Andy has turned 33! I do enjoy teasing him about it! (im still only 29...but not for long!)
The night of his birthday we went to see Billy Idol in concert at the Fillmore in SF. It was a fabulous show! He sounds as good live as he does on his CD's!

Steve Stevens still rocks his classic 80's look...wow....is all I can say to his hair doo!

Hayden stayed home with Uncle Dave and, uncle Dave did great! I think he really enjoyed playing parent again!

Friday we recovered from the concert and I took aunt Shirley (we were watching her while the Drubas went to Portland or somewhere?...I forgot where they went?...) to the mall. I bought her a really cute outfit for the Surprise birthday party at Michael and Jasmines house on Sunday for uncle Dave's b-day!

Saturday night we played pool (on the slate table Andy's parents and I bought him) with Mike and Christy...Christy schooled all of us, but Andy was doing pretty good. I only had two beers so I sucked....I think that the game of pool is best when your drunk...and drunk on hard liquor at that ;)

Sunday we had amazing tickets to the A's vs. Giants at Oakland. The seats were great, this was the other gift for Andy from me. We were right on field level between home plate and first base! I was blocking Haydens head from lots of foul balls! this was Haydens first ball game! It was a pain in the butt!! He was not interested in sitting, yet the ground is much too dirty for him to sit or even stand on with out shoes (He hates wearing shoes and socks). it was fun though...Mike and Christy joined us as I got 4 tix.

After the game we went to the surprise party. Shirley had been dropped off there prior to our game, so we did miss the actual surprise...but the food was great as was the company!

We have been so busy already this summer that we are planning to just chill out around the house and relax this weekend! Well see :)
