We had such a roller coaster week....emotions were flying high!
Monday afternoon we got a phone call that alerted us that Rusty (Andys dad) was in the hospital and was going to be undergoing emergency brain surgery...... this was relatively good news considering that originally they thought he had a stroke....Rusty basically had suffered a head injury playing ball about 2 months ago....he didnt think much of it....it had later caused a hemotoma in his brain! The long story short they had to relieve the pressure in his head and them made him sit quite in a hospital ICU room for 4 days without music, TV, reading, and NO HAYDEN :( After 6 days in the hospital he is home again, taking it easy, but home in great spirits and quite frankley....back to his smart alleck self...JUST THE WAY WE LIKE HIM!
Tuesday the family (Me, Hayden and Andy) all went to the Doctors to confirm the stick test... IM PREGNANT! Due 8/27/10! Of course we dont know the sex yet..but we get to find that out in about 8 weeks! Woo-Hoo!
As you can imagine it was a very emotional week! We are so greatful that Rusty is home and doing GREAT! And as word continues to get our that were expecting our second we are preparing ourselves for the road ahead.... :)
I do have a few photos of Hayden at his birthday parties, but im having a difficult time getting them downloaded into a proper format for this blog? Stay tuned.......
